19 جنوری کی شب رات ایک بجکر 23 منٹ پر کراچی سمیت پاکستان کے مختلف شہروں میں ایک شدید نوعیت کا زلزلہ آیا جس کے اثرات دبئی سے نئی دہلی تک محسوس کیے گئے۔ امریکی جیالوجیکل سروے کے مطابق ریکٹر اسکیل پر اس زلزلے کی شدت 7.4 رہی۔ کشمور میں 7.9 جبکہ کراچی میں اس کی شدت 6.3 ریکارڈ کی گئی۔ زلزلے کا دورانیہ 30 سیکنڈ رہا۔ معجزانہ طور پر اس زلزلے سے کوئی نقصان نہیں ہوا۔
لفظ ’معجزانہ‘ کا مطلب اسی وقت واضح ہوسکتا ہے جب یہ معلوم ہو کہ اس سے قبل جو چند بڑے بڑے زلزلے دنیا میں آئے، ان کی شدت اس زلزلے جیسی ہی تھی۔ مثلاً ہیٹی میں 10 جنوری 2010 میں آنے والے زلزلے میں 3 لاکھ سے زائد لوگ ہلاک ہوئے تھے اور اس کی شدت 7.0 تھی۔ اکتوبر 2005 کے کشمیر کے زلزلے کی شدت 7.6 تھی اور اس میں مرنے والوں کی تعداد لاکھ سے اوپر تھی۔ سن 1935 میں کوئٹہ میں آنے والے زلزلے کی شدت 7.7 تھی اور اس زمانے میں 60 ہزار کی تعداد میں لوگ مارے گئے تھے۔ جبکہ سن 2001 جنوری میں گجرات، انڈیاکے زلزلے کی شدت 7.6 تھی جس میں 20 ہزار لوگ مارے گئے تھے۔
موجودہ زلزلے کی زد میں کراچی جیسا گنجان آباد شہر بھی تھا جس کی آبادی ڈیڑھ کروڑ سے اوپر ہے۔ یہاں لوگ بلند عمارات میں رہتے ہیں جن میں شاذ ہی کوئی زلزلہ پروف ہے۔ اوپر سے غیر معیاری تعمیراتی سامان سے بنی عمارتیں اتنی مخدوش ہیں کہ شدید زلزلے کی صورت میں ان کا گرپڑنا یقینی ہے۔ اللہ تعالیٰ اگر اپنے فضل سے اس آفت کو نہ روک دیتے تو اس زلزلے میں اتنی بڑی تباہی آتی کہ دنیا تمام سابقہ زلزلوں کو بھول جاتی۔ بیس تیس لاکھ لوگوں کا مرجانا، اتنی ہی تعداد کا زخمی اور معذور ہوجانا اور باقی لوگوں کا بے گھر ہوجانا یقینی تھا۔
ہر گھر سے لاشیں اٹھ رہی ہوتیں۔ جنازے زیادہ ہوتے، کندھا دینے والے کم پڑجاتے۔ پہلے پیاروں کے جانے کا غم مار ڈالتا۔ پھر معذوروں اور زخمیوں کی آہ و فغاں تڑپا دیتی۔ بچنے والے گھروں کے بجائے سڑکوں پر رہنے پر مجبور ہوجاتے۔ نہ کھانے کو کچھ ہوتا، نہ سردی کی شدت سے تن ڈھانکنے کے لیے گرم کپڑے ہوتے۔ رہائش، کاروبار، دکانیں، روزگار سب تباہ ہوجاتے۔ کراچی کی تباہی سے پورا پاکستان معاشی طور پر تباہ ہوجاتا۔
مگر ایسا کچھ نہ ہوا۔ جو ہوا وہ یہ کہ بیشتر لوگوں کو پتہ ہی نہ چلا۔ جو جاگ رہے تھے انھوں نے اپنے در و دیوار اور سامان کو لرزتا پایا۔ ٹی وی کھولا تو ہر جگہ زلزلے کی بریکنگ نیوز تھی۔ کچھ دیر خوف رہا۔ پھر غفلت کی نیند سوگئے۔ زلزلہ بہت شدید تھا مگر مرا کوئی نہ تھا۔ اس لیے میڈیا کے لیے یہ ایک بے کار خبر تھی۔ چنانچہ صبح تک یہ خبر چینلز کی ہیڈ لائن سے غائب ہوچکی تھی۔ صبح کے اخبارات نے رسمی طور پر ایک ذیلی سرخی لگادی تھی۔ اگلے دن کسی کو یاد بھی نہیں رہنا تھا کہ کیسی تباہی ٹل گئی۔
مگر کیا یہ غفلت ہی اللہ تعالیٰ کی اس غیرمعمولی عنایت کا بدلہ ہے۔ کیا اب بھی ہم اس کی مہربانیوں کی شکرگزاری نہیں سیکھیں گے۔ کیا اب بھی ہم لوگ اپنے اخلاقی رویے نہیں بدلیں گے۔ کیا اب بھی ہمارے اہل سیاست اپنی کرپشن اور مفاد پرستی نہیں چھوڑیں گے۔ کیا اب بھی ہماری مذہبی قیادت مفادات کے لیے مذہب کا استعمال بند نہیں کرے گی۔ کیا اب بھی ٹارگٹ کلنگ اور دہشت گردی نہیں رکے گی۔
ان سوالوں کا جواب یہ ہے کہ سب کچھ جیسا پہلے ہورہا تھا ویسے ہی ہوگا۔ اخلاقی گراوٹ، فواحش کا فروغ، کرپشن کی بہتات، اہل سیاست و مذہب کے رویے سب ویسے ہی رہیں گے۔ لیکن مجھے اور آپ کو اپنے آپ کو بدلنا ہوگا۔ ہمیں خیر و شر کی کشمکش میں غیر جانبداری کا رویہ چھوڑنا ہوگا۔ ایمان اور اخلاق کو زندگی بنانا ہوگا۔ کیونکہ یہ زلزلہ دوبارہ آئے گا، زلزلۂ قیامت کی شکل میں۔ اور اس روز یہ مکمل تباہی برپا کیے بغیر نہ ٹلے گا۔ اس تباہی سے اگر کوئی بچے گا وہ وہی ہوگا جس نے معاشرے کی ساری خرابیوں کے باوجود اپنی راہ کو درست کیا۔ یہی لوگ اللہ کی ابدی رحمت کے امیدوار ہوں گے۔

What we say is what we don't don't really believe in. That's what I will discuss today.
In theory we love our Prophet (saw) so much so that we can't let anyone disrespect him. However in practise it's not so.
Facebook promoted disrespectful groups against our Prophet (saw), whereas they didn't let any pro-Hitler or Holocaust denial groups to stay.
They didn't even apologise for this rubbish behaviour (blasphemy) & majority of us started using it again.
The question is: would u have gone back to do business with somebody who used humiliating words for ur parents or ur family? Certainly not. How come can we claim that we love our Prophet (saw) more than our parents, children or anything else in the World? Doesn't it make us hypocrites? Yes it does!
An authentic hadith says that nobody can be a Muslim unless he/she loves prophet of Allah (saw) more than his own parents, children or anything else in this World.
There are several other social networking websites, use them instead of facebook and protest against facebook's double standards.
If u agree, forward it. If u don't, may Allah give u hidayah.
